BET USA is an American Taekwondo Association (ATA) school. We have been taking classes since June 1994. Dan is currently a 2nd degree decided black belt, and Cindy is currently a 2nd degree decided black belt. Here's a picture of Dan before class. In June 1997 Dan had a partial ACL tear while executing a jump ax kick (see pictures of orthroscopic surgury). The overstretched ACL is shown in the upper right. He was getting close to the mirrors and didn't want to hit them, so for some reason when he came down his knee popped.  He had surgery at the end of July 1997.
